Drop down menu for equipment types that can have additions made by staff

We would like to propose a new addition to Handles “Add New + - Account Equipment”

Ideally, we would like to see a drop down menu under both ‘category’ and ‘subcategory’ that will

allow users to select equipment types from a pre-defined list of equipment types (Brian is happy

to create and provide this standardised list). At the bottom of this list, there will be the option to

‘Add New +’. This will give users the option to add a new type of equipment, that is not already

listed, to the dropdown. The dropdown will then permanently save that equipment type to the list

so future users are able to select it.

We feel this inclusion would make drastic improvement in our record keeping, in particular of

competitor machinery. In future, after reasonable assessment had been made of the feature, we

would be eager to explore its ability in other areas of Handle, such as in ‘make’ and ‘model’.
